GED Exam Preparation
(General Educational Development)

  • The Open Door Education Centre can provide assistance to students wishing to write the GED Exam.
  • The General Educational Development (GED) is a set of five multiple choice tests in the areas of language arts writing, language arts reading, social studies, science and mathematics.  The language arts writing test also requires the writing of an essay.
  • Cost of the preparation is $30.00 and registration can be completed at The Open Door Education Centre
  • You will be required to write the exam at Okanagan University College.  There is a fee payable to OUC for completion of the exam.
  • The British Columbia Secondary School Equivalency Certificate is not the same as secondary school graduation and cannot be considered as a substitute for it.
